Institutional guests, informed amateurs, students, teachers and specialists ; the documentary collections of the Rhône River Centre provide a unique perspective of the social and cultural history the Rhône river and its major transformations, as well as future development from Lake Geneva to the sea.

- The Dürrenmatt Collection
This unique and highly valuable collection is exclusively devoted to the history of the Rhône River.  It includes 2 000 postcards (from the end of the 19th Century to the beginning of the 20th Century), several hundred works related to the history of the river and the development of fluvial navigation, as well as the archives of Léon Mahl, an engineer who designed and led the construction of the Génissiat Dam.
