In 2004, the Rhône River Centre created a portal web site, in collaboration with the Press agency « Esprit Public », and with support from the Rhône-Alpes Region, the Rhône-Mediterranean-Corsican Water Agency, the DATAR and the Greater Lyon Urban Community. 
The web site serves the general public as well as teachers. The encyclopedia, agenda and interactive maps sections contain a wealth of information about current river events and the life of the river in general.
